Currently there is a description field for each job type, but to see it you have to edit an individual job type, eg:
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/admin/model/jobtype/158/
To make doing things like bug 1051508 easier, it would be good if this field were available on the job type overview as well:
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/admin/model/jobtype/
I'm guessing it isn't at the moment, due to being a longer text field type.
