1. Create 2 profiles.
2. Start Quicklaunch.
3. Start mozilla.
4. Choose first profile.
5. Close mozilla (leaving quicklaunch running)
6. Reopen mozilla (it should reask you for profile info)
7. Choose other profile
8. Crash. Talkback: TB36819280K
This worked a few weeks ago.
Ok tested this in 2001101603 still crashes, but I found out that you have used
mail/news with an account setup for it to crash. So revising steps.
1. Create 2 profiles.
2. Start Quicklaunch.
3. Start mozilla.
4. Choose first profile.
5. Open Mail/News
6. Enter info into wizard (if you exit and don't put an account info in it won't
crash, it doesn't matter if its pop or imap, tested both)
7. Allow mail/news to open.
5. Close mail/news and any browser windows open. (leaving quicklaunch running)
6. Reopen mozilla (it should reask you for profile info)
7. Choose other profile
8. Crash.
This may be associated with the other mail/profile switching bug I reported a
few weeks ago. Bug 99647
What does "Start QuickLaunch" mean?
Quick Launch doesn't work if you have multiple profiles (now).
Actually it has been working for the last few weeks just fine. If you have 2
profiles run mozilla, with quicklaunch activated in the preferences, then close
all windows when you go to open a new window it will reask you what profile you
want. It was working fine. But if this is an unsupported feature, I'd understand
delaying working on it.

Bill,
Mozilla does allow Quick Launch to work with multiple profiles :( (used nightly
build 2001103003 for testing)
It is only on commercial (and branch only!) that Quick Launch does not work with
multiple profiles. Commercial trunk for same build allows multiple profiles :((

Looking at the talkback data, this is a dup of bug 105177. The profile change
observer, which has been in global history long before turbo mode, seems to have
been broken recently.
