FYI:

There are two ways to do interactive theme snippets in about:home.

1) Get engineering to allow snippets to interact directly with the browser's chrome

2) Deploy an iframe that has an HTML page on addons.mozilla.org with the code to preview and add a theme directly from a snippet.

We can do #2 while we are waiting on #1 from engineering. We've done it before and it works and let's ensure there are no blockers to doing the iframe again.

:omose: Can you confirm that it would be technically possible to do #2 while we are waiting on #1 to ride the trains?

It is, we just may need to coordinate with the AMO team as I cannot remember if I have access to put stuff up on that domain all by my lonesome.
