Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140716183446

Steps to reproduce:

Well, not Loop bug but the closest I was able to find...
People like appear.in and it should work. I'm trying call between Windows7/Firefox31 for desktop and FirefoxOS 2.0 (Flame) based upon Firefox 32.
Test on both devices are passing ( http://iswebrtcready.appear.in/ ) co I try to connect them and...

Actual results:

after couple of seconds I'm getting this message:
"We're really sorry, but we are not able to connect you. There might be a problem with your network. See our FAQ for tips on how to resolve this, or contact us at feedback@appear.in"

Expected results:

but what I expect is to see the other Side.
On WiFi speedy connection and people love appear.in UI simplicity so it would be really bad for FirefoxOS 2.0 to have problems with this great service...
and it is the same with latest Firefox Nightly on desktop...
What combinations of Firefox for Desktop - Firefox for Android and FirefoxOS should work?
Well, I've tested it on different networks and this time it works...
So probably I was on some firewalled network.
I was able to connect from FirefoxOS to Chrome, Firefox on desktop and also to Firefox on Android.
I was even able to connect three Firefoxes in one chat - FirefoxOS, FF for Android and FF for Desktop. Wow.
The only drawback I see is that Flame/FirefoxOS 2.0 became not responding for a long time and sound was very very distorted and delayed, but that is you probably know already.
Android phone with weaker HW then Flame was faring much better than FirefoxOS, though, and device was responding all the time..
This seems to be a platform bug, due to it's not part of Loop right?
Flags: needinfo?(marek.raida)
Right, but platform looked too general component to me and since it is closely related to Loop than anything else I was able to find I chose this
Flags: needinfo?(marek.raida)
Component: Gaia::Loop → General
