Details

Currently the Roku screen casting app uses SSDP and ECP to communicate with the Roku device. Switching to DIAL will allow better integration with the Roku device. With ECP, when the application is not installed, the screen casting app fails silently. With DIAL, the Roku will be able to prompt the user to install the Screen casting channel when it is not already installed on the device.
Since the screen casting work has stopped, no need to currently perform this work.
