I went to www.infosyssec.org and they have a news ticker that scrolls, but in order to view it you need to install the java 2 plugin. I installed it succesfully. It said to close the browser and restart the browser for the applet to function. Did it, and it didn't

The Java installer on its own doesn't work. You need to copy the various NP*.dll files from the Java Bin directory into Mozilla's plugin directory. I don't have the list in front of me, but I finally got Java to work recently this way.
--->INVALID Use the Netscape 6 FULL installer to get Java. Otherwise for Mozilla, read the release notes.
