The Sign Up page, when a user signs in with identifiers - username & email address - that match an existing MDN account.

What problems would this solve?

The Sign Up page has some dis-jointed messaging about usernames and emails already in use. [1]

Who would use this?
===================
Existing MDN users who are connecting a new 3rd-party auth service.

What would users see?
=====================
A large, personalized prompt that we found an MDN account that already matches their username AND email address. [2]

What would users do? What would happen as a result?
===================================================
Click "Yes, connect with my MDN profile." or "No, create a new MDN profile."

Interesting thing is, I just tried to authenticate / create an account using my the GitHub signup, and I got an error message saying "there is already a GitHub account with username MYUSERNAME", prompting me to enter a different username. I entered a different username and now have an MDN account with a different username than my GitHub account, even though I sign in through GitHub. And I didn't have an MDN account before this. 

I find it highly improbable that someone else might have signed up with my same username because it is quite unique...
