Details
When I clear my documents menu in Windows 98 and I have Mozilla open 95% of the time the properties menu locks up and I am unable to do anything in it. When Mozilla is closed (including quicklaunch) the taskbar properties window resumes and closes. Happens in 0.9.5 and has happened for as long as I can remember.

Reporter: Have you tried a fresh profile? You can manage/create profiles with "mozilla.exe -profilemanager". You may also wish to try a more recent build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-talkback.zip (as always, be sure to delete your old Mozilla directory before installing the new one)

I tried all of that, fresh install and new profile. I just recently got a cable modem and the problem has disapeared. I used to be using dial-up. I used a Lucent 56k Internet-Fax modem on COM2. Divers were old though which may have caused an issue.

Marking WFM per reporter's comment ("the problem has disapeared").
