Can you check about:crashes to see if there are any recent crash reports? If so, please post the links.

That's a crash early in startup while creating a window. It's unlikely that code is failing on its own.

I see two dlls in your process space that seem suspect, one is smum32.dll, which appears to be related to something called Spyware Doctor, and sahook.dll which appears to be related to a McAfee product called SiteAdvisor.

You might try disabling each of these and see if it helps fix the problem.

Thank you !!! I just recently installed McAfee Security Center, and there was an plug-in showing up as "McAfee MSC FF plugin DLL" which I set to "never activate" and now my Firefox is functioning normally again. Whew !! I really appreciate the help.

Best Regards,
