User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140716183446 Steps to reproduce: Upload pdf document using standard webform using Firefox version 31. Repeated with version 30 and worked correctly. Actual results: php detects mime type as application/x-forcedownload Expected results: php should detect mime type as application/pdf

Further investigation has shown that this bug only appears when Firefox has been upgraded from a previous version. Performing a reset Firefox fixes the problem. Maybe mimeTypes.rdf becomes corrupt during the upgrade. Also a fresh install of Firefox 31, when it hasn’t been installed before is also unaffected.

Resolving as incomplete, as after 10 years too many things changed to properly debug the original issue.
Also restricting comments for repeated spam.
