Original reporter is susiew@netscape.com DESCRIPTION (3 screenshots to follow) I have been using the 10/17 build for the last day, and increasingly either 1. A home page shows up blank, and I have to hit the address again for the content to appear (most frequently in Bugscape) 2. Only some graphics appear. -Yahoo mail almost all day the login page graphics are not loaded http://mail.yahoo.com/ -Upon login only some of the graphics are loading In both cases if I hit the URL again they all load properly. I marked this high priority as sites that people are new to that are relying on graphics to communicate could be very confused. BROWSER: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011017 Netscape6/6.2 (Same problems do not occur in Mozilla 9/13) I DO NOT KNOW ANY SPECIFIC WAY TO REPLICATE THIS. ------- Additional Comments From Susie Wyshak 2001-10-18 13:39 ------- Created an attachment (id=3502) Yahoo mail - no graphics ------- Additional Comments From Susie Wyshak 2001-10-18 13:40 ------- Created an attachment (id=3503) Bugzilla page upon first access - missing graphics ------- Additional Comments From Susie Wyshak 2001-10-18 13:40 ------- Created an attachment (id=3504) Bugscape screen upon first access - missing graphics ------- Additional Comments From Lisa Chiang 2001-10-18 15:27 ------- qa contact to Terri. cc: rpotts tpreston - can you reproduce this? rpotts - do you have any suggestions on how to narrow this down? ------- Additional Comments From Jason Kersey 2001-10-18 15:41 ------- I see this all over. Totally random. A reload always fixes it. ------- Additional Comments From sivakiran tummala 2001-10-18 15:46 ------- could not reproduce with 2001-10-17-18-0.9.4 build on windows 2000 ------- Additional Comments From Terri Preston 2001-10-18 15:49 ------- WFM w2k build 2001-10-17-18-0.9.4, Jason any idea how to reproduce?

susiew: have you changed any of you pref settings for cache or images?

OK - I thought I had cleared my cache yesterday but perhaps not. Clearing it SEEMS to have fixed the problem. Until I cleared it Yahoo mail, Bugzilla and a page on the intranet kept replicating either coming up blank or no images until reloading. Bob Clary is doing some other tests...so please don't WFM this quite yet :-)

The problem is still occuring as described previously, even with my cache cleared. Let me know if more screenshots would help.

1) Darin: I cleared both memory and disk cache 2) Jaime: - I never saw this in 6.1 or any earlier builds. Only starting with Gecko/20011017. Since my last report this morning, I cleared my cache again, and have restarted a couple times. I have not been able to recreate it. (I've been doing a lot of looking @ sites w/video in the last few days. Maybe my cache is just filling up really fast?)

Susie, are you still seeing this? If so, have you found reproducible case?

Thanks for asking. Actually I haven't seen it in a couple of weeks. Haven't cleared my cache during that time either, so who knows what it was! Well I might as well INVALID my own bug and hopefully it won't come back :-) So I did.
