1056016 - Inconsistent airplane mode state reported

Reporting this since it's not the first time I'm seeing this, but the STR may be much more than blurry. Reproduced on Nexus S, but I heard reports on Flame too.

Basically, I can get the airplane mode in a inconsistent state between lockscreen, settings app and system menu:
 - lockscreen and system menu reports airplane mode
 - settings app, utility tray and status bar shows a valid signal icon
 - I can send sms

It seemed to happened after the device put itself in airplane mode: gsm signal icon was present but without any bar, sending a SMS would fail with "Airplane mode enabled" error message. After turning airplane mode on then off, I get in the state described earlier.

Filing this under RIL because I'm unsure whether the condition comes from RIL or System app.

Turns out it does not reproduce anymore on my master running on Nexus S.
