D'oh. Some questions: Does this happen all the time? What about if you open a new window? Private window? Did this start happening recently? (ie, is it a recent regression) Can you reproduce this against a clean profile and/or can you figure out if it's caused by one of the many add-ons that are installed? (see https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles )

(see > https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox- > profiles ) My memory is playing tricks with me now. I created a new profile and the drop-down menu behaved as it should. Now I'm back in my actual profile (with all the add-ons) and again, the drop-down menu is behaving as it should. I'll report back again if it starts being positioned incorrectly.

QA Whiteboard: [bugday-20140825]
Summary: address bar drop-down menu overlaps the bar itself → address bar autocomplete drop-down overlaps the bar itself
I have an almost similar effect - see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1064158

@bilal I've only ever noticed this in the Location Bar. Your bug seems to suggest this happens in webpages as well. Also of note I've observed the "save password" pop-up be displaced as well. And my Aurora is now at version 34 and still has this bug, so maybe update the version to 34 branch?

This bug still exists. Most of the time everything works but when it does occur it is very persistent. Using 64bit firefox52 ESR on linux.
