Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140716183446 Steps to reproduce: In a new Firefox profile: 1. Type "example.com" in the address bar, press Enter. 2. Type "exa" in the address bar. Firefox will autocomplete to "example.com/", selecting the "mple.com/" part. 3. Press Ctrl+Backspace. Actual results: The address bar now contains "mple.com/", a useless entry. Expected results: I would expect that the address bar would be cleared, as if there was no autocompletion.

Occurs with Nightly 34.0a1 (2014-08-22) as well. Might be related to: - Bug 960542 and bug 960522 (but does not involve pressing Down) - Bug 719890 (this one is for Backspace, not Ctrl+Backspace, and Backspace's current behavior is at least somewhat useful)
