+Sri Sri, is the current implementation of audio priorities covering this scenario properly?

I don't think the above behavior is expected. The music should continue to play even if the screen is locked by pressing the power button Adding Dominic to comment if this is something we have seen before...

I`m leo engineer. The screen is not just off by pressing the power button. The music in call is stopped by screen is off by ambient Light Sensor. I think gaia blocks music in call or music should continue to play.

It's weird that the user decide to play the music instead of answering the call while the phone is ringing, also, the next step - press the music play button, I don't know the exactly way that how you press the play button, did you minimized the call screen then bring the music app to foreground so that the play button is visible? or pull down the utility tray to press the play button in the notification area?

"calling status" means staus that the user are talking to another user, not incomming call.

It's a detailed step. 1. you receive call 2. after receiving call, enter music app. 3. and then play the music. 4. as a result, while calling, music is starting and playing 5. you press the power key in short. 6. LCD is off and music is paused. 7. you press the power key in short , again. 8. LCD is on and music restart.

Another scenario: 1. Invoke music playback from any other application which activate the system music player (by sending webactivity), e.g. form Settings/Downloads tapping on any downloaded music file and then tapping Open. 2. Lock the screen by short-pressing the power button. Actual result: The music is stopped Expected result: Music continues when the screen locked, no matter how it was started. Decision to stop music at screenlock when music player is invoked from any other application was made in this thread: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1086280
