OS: Win 7 x64, Mac Os X 10.9.4, Ubuntu 14.04 x64

STR:

1. Activate https://socialapi-demo.paas.allizom.org/
2. Disable the service from about:addons page.(the sidebar disappears)
3. Enable the service from about:addons

Expected:
The sidebar appears when the service is enabled.

Actual:
The sidebar doesn't automatically apear.
This goes back to at least Firefox 27. Catalin, please check to see if this is a regression.
This bug is reproducible on FF 24 so it appears that is not a regression.
