seen while running on Nexus 7. Running on Android 4.4.4 with an older dimpled back Nexus 7 (Model ME470T) STR: 1. Open m.nytimes.com and rapidly scroll an article. Expected: Text is clear while you are scrolling (the page has already loaded) Actual: When scrolling the page rapidly the text on the page is often blurry. Eventually it does paint, but Occurs using the latest Firefox Beta as well as the latest Firefox released version on the tablet. Will try to capture a video and attach it. On my home Nexus 7 I have seen it on other sites as well (m.cnn.com), and it makes using Firefox at times less than desirable for reading news articles.
This sounds like expected behaviour. The blurriness is because we render at a lower resolution when scrolling rapidly. If we didn't do that then we would just checkerboard and show blank. The blurriness should go away once you slow down or stop scrolling. If it sticks around for a long time after you stop scrolling then it's a bug.

I will test again on my home Nexus. The blurriness does eventually go away. Is there a reason why when I scroll the same page on Chrome it doesn't render that way (with blurry text?)

Maybe their rendering is faster and so they don't need to do something like that. Resolving as invalid for now, but please reopen if you see the blurriness persisting for too long.
