As per Bug 1047118 and Bug 1045938 : Modify b2g.sh to store certain boot timing info on the file system to later be consumed by testing infrastructure.

Can you do this via on boot in init.b2g.rc? The flame init.rc would also need an update, but other devices do use init.b2g.rc.
It seems to do that, one would need to have at least a portion of the change in a shell script at some point anyways, due to the limitations of the script language. For example, even if one uses exec to get some result, there is no way to observe that value to use it in generating our desired final output.
