1) Load https://marketplace.firefox.com/
2) Click "New" nav item - notice you are taken to https://marketplace.firefox.com/new
3) Press the back button - notice I am still on the same page
4) Press the back button twice - notice I am finally taken to the homepage

From a cursory glance, it looks like we're doing two pushStates, requiring the user to press back twice.

The description of that seems different from the 100% reliable STR here. It could be the same issue. Kevin would know.
