Create a calendar event given an URL to ICS file

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 2014072000
Steps to reproduce:
I received a message with a link (an URL) to an ICS file that contains a calendar event (an appointment date and time).
- I tried dragging/dropping the link on Lightning. Nothing happened.
- I copied the link to the clipboard; there was no option to paste into Lightning.
- I opened "Events and Tasks" :: Import. No option to import from an URL.
- I tried RMB :: Convert to :: Event.
Actual results:
RMB on the URL :: Convert to :: Event
It created an event but it did not put any of the ICS's data in it. It just copied the email message into the event, and used the current date and time.
Expected results:
I expected it to access the ICS file and create an event with the data in the ICS file.
At this time the only (really clumsy) option is to:
- RMB over link in email message
- save link as...
- choose a location
- save file
- go to "Events and Tasks" in menu bar
- select Import
- locate file
- import it
- open a file manager
- locate file
- erase it
