I never really understood why the addressbook seems like almost a "seperate" application. Why not make it appear in the folder pane. Like the contacts folder in Outlook or Evolution.
you can access it in the sidebar.
I'm going to mark this worksforme because this can be added to the sidebar. We should continue to file bugs about additional functionality we'd like to see in it. Right now it can be used to view the display name of cards and send an email.
