I faced the same problem in my school ( http://www.epita.fr/stats/ ) mozilla.org
faces.
Webalizer has a date bug going past Oct. 4th 2001. A simple patch solves the
problem. Three-lines patch available here:
ftp://ftp.mrunix.net/pub/webalizer/pre-release/v130-epoch.patch

Dawn - you can get the Webalizer 1.30 source (and other older versions) from:
ftp://ftp.mrunix.net/pub/webalizer/old/

That, together with the patch referenced in this bug, should enable you to
recompile webalizer and get our webstats working again.
