See attached screenshot. There is too much padding-left on the Share button, which I think is placed there to make room for a badge. The badge should be able to overlap the icon, so this padding isn't necessary, and when the badge isn't showing the button looks too wide.

Seen in Firefox Nightly 2014-08-26 Windows 7 Aero.

Share doesn't use a badged button.

This has come up before, the button is centered, but visually appears to be more to the right.  A quick measurement from your screen capture shows that there is in fact 8px of blank space on both sides between any colored pixels in the airplane and the edge of the button.

I should have measured. This is then due to the weight of the icon being heavier on the right-side than on the left-side. We may want to reduce the left-side padding on the button due to the weight distribution of the icon.
