User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140730101922 Steps to reproduce: - Visit http://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html while using Linux. More specifically, I'm using Firefox 31.0.1 on Fedora 20 x86_64, and GNOME/GTK 3.12.1 - Authorize the site to show notifications - Press show Actual results: No notifications are shown. Authorization succeeds, and logs in the site show calls seem to have succeeded too, but no notifications are shown. Tested in safe mode as well and nothing changes. There are no errors in the browser console or stdout. Expected results: Notifications show up properly.
I slightly mispoke: it's Firefox 31.0, release 2, from the Fedora repo.
WFM with FF31 on Win 7.

Can you test with an official mozilla build instead of the fedora build? This wouldn't be the first time where the distro build inexplicably breaks in random places. :-(

(this works on ubuntu's copy of Firefox 31 and Gnome 3, fwiw)
Sorry for the delay, I thought I was CC'ed to the bug but I didn't get any emails. I'll try an official build and report back.

Not reproducible on official builds. Sorry for wasting your time. I'll report it at Fedora instead.
