User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140716183446 Steps to reproduce: Visit http://www.ukoog.org.uk/knowledge-base/economics-and-benefits/what-affects-the-cost-of-shale-gas-and-what-will-the-costs-be-in-the-uk Left-click, drag to select text. Actual results: Text is selected but not highlighted. Expected results: Text should be highlighted dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled does not fix. It is not a javascript problem. IE doesn't have the same issue. It is not a simple text color problem. Clicking away from the page causes the highlight to appear, clicking back on the page causes the highlight to disappear (just the highlight, not the selection)

I can reproduce this. Removing the empty ::-moz-selection {} selector blocks in the two CSS files that include them (!?) seems to fix this, but a simple testcase doesn't seem to have the same problem...
