From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011011 BuildID: 2001101117 When typing out URLs by hand in the address bar, at certain letters a series of small black squares appear over the letters. When the next letter is typed they disappear again, and will not necessarily reappear if the same URL is entered to the same point (ie backspace, and retyping). Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Type out a long URL, at each letter watch the address bar 2.Occaisionally (every ~15-20 characters) a row of black dots will appear over the entire adress bar. 3. You may also paste in a large URL to the address bar and backspace over the line, by each individual character, and get the same row of dots/squares. Actual Results: A series of black dots / artifacts appeared in the adress bar over the letters (fair size, but small - around comma sized) Expected Results: displayed black text on the white address bar as usual The row of squares do not disappear if dragged off the screen and then back on (ie the window is moved around), but will return to normal if the windows is resized (maximized / minimized). And I'm running at a resolution of 1152x864.

Resolving worksforme because there has been no reply from the reporter for more than a month... Reporter (john_w_gilbert) if this still happens on a recent Mozilla build (1.0Rc1 or a new nightly) please reopen this bug using the Bugzilla web interface.
