Steps to reproduce:

I attempted to move a bookmark on the Bookmarks toolbar to another location on the Bookmarks Toolbar


Actual results:

I was unable to move the bookmark.


Expected results:

I should have been able to move the bookmark.

I tried restarting Firefox in the Safe Mode, but drag and drop still didn't work in the Bookmarks Toolbar. I tried disabling Hardware Acceleration in Options/Advanced/General (tried it in both the Safe and Regular modes) but that made no difference.

Do you have any system software that might interact with mouse gestures?
I don't think I saw other reports of this, so it looks like might be being caused by very specific setup.

Did you try with a completely new profile, just in case? https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Thanks for the suggestion, Marco. However, I've updated to Firefox version 32 since posting the bug. I just tried what you asked and was able to drag and drop into the Bookmarks Toolbar. I switched back to my regular profile and now dragging and dropping bookmarks to the Bookmark Toolbar works. It looks like something in the new version fixed the bug.
