Steps to reproduce:

I go to my favorite videos on youtube and click on a video to play and the video starts to play and normally the playlist appears on the side in case you want to change the video.


Actual results:

Everytime I click on a video, the video starts fine but the list that is on the side jumps to the beginning.


Expected results:

Normally with other webrowser the video that is playing it should be shadowed on the playlist and be on top as first video.

If you click on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9A6eEjqVmQA&list=PLFlAJDI87Jg1LDIpKl_xlcE5DOMrelPB8&index=3 is the 3rd video highlighted in red on the list?

Does the highlight change if you click on other videos on the list?

Can you please check if resetting Firefox solves this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems ?

Hey Alex,
I just checked again and it seems like, It is highlighting the video but if the list is a bit long, It scrolls back up to the beginning (like say you have 20 videos and when you click on the 19th video to play, It will highlight but the list will jump back up and you'll have to scroll down again to find the highlighted video that is playing).

It seems that the same issue occurs with chromium to. I am using Ubuntu 14.04 so the bug source might not be in the browser but in the OS incompatible with Youtube script.
