  Sometimes show unmeaning operator message page
  If hard to reproduce, please repeat step 1~step 3

we test locally and not reproduce this issue. could you pls cat log and have a analysis first, we also doubt it's up layer problem.

we doubt that this phenomenon is caused by the special SIM, could you pls insert SIM contains special service into other normal device and try to reproduce.

I verify with other devices and still encounter this problem

 From log, modem did report two STK commands,
1. SEND SHORT MESSAGE
2. SET UP MENU

SET UP MENU seems normal to me. but SEND SHORT MESSAGE with empty text seems a little weird to me.
Please ask partner to check this part.

hi wesly -

I've checked with our engineer and it seems normal. this behavior is controlled by sim card. if text filled with strings that will be display in pop message , nor "sending message", that is bind to SIM card.

If we talk about "https://bug1061442.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8482518" this message, this should not be a normal one.

From log, we saw PR with send short message, not display text. send short message is done by sim/modem. There should be no UI to indicate this condition.

hi shawn -

I've sync status with our engineer and get conclusion that can't distinguish in qcom ril between SIM active pop and user trigger that are the same STK command. so maybe unable to satisfy requirement you mentioned before.

wesly, I've descript cause in comment18.

what we can do is just check text string in STK command, if it's NULL, we'll not pop message, nor we display it in message box. But, we suggest keep current handle.
