* Firefox Student Ambassadors want ways they can track their community collecting badges during Maker Party. 
* They are going to send a "collect your badge" email to their mailing list of 30,000 
* We need to a) figure out the best way to support that work, and b) make it happen.

* OPTIONS
a) claim codes
b) create a new FSA badge
c) something else

Amira talked to Erik. Erik can give a multi-use claim code easily, which could be the easiest option.

I'm checking in with them on the logistics (as to whether they prefer their own badge or use existing one and their tracking needs). Will follow up when I know dates and specifics.

So I created the FSA Maker Party Badge in badgekit - do any of you know how to get it up on a live site and activated now??

Hello Amira!  So generally all you have to do to make the badge "live" is publish it, and it will immediately be live on webmaker.org (though it will have a funky url like "webmaker.org/badges/jkfjafewiqwj", but I can do some manual tweaking to make it a readable url).

In this case, however, the badge is actually not in the "webmaker" system, which means it won't show up on webmaker automatically.  I can switch it over to the right system, though, fear not.  If you're interested in making more badges in the future, though, feel free to ping me on irc and I'll show you how to switch systems so the badges will appear automatically.

All that said, the badge is not yet published.  Should I go ahead and publish it?  Just want to make sure you didn't have any pending changes to it.

* Sweet! Nice work guys. This might make sense as a template for us to follow on other co-branded badges stuff we're working on. So Erik: if you could chuck a bit of documentation into an etherpad, we'd be grateful.

This is done...for now! Just pushing out the badge and issuing with the FSA team. 

We might do new strategy or testing for a skill sharer badge in November. Will connect with Fall campaign
