I quit Nightly, and then when I tried to start it again, OSX just put a big "?" over the icon in the dock. So I ran firefox by hand from the application package and I got the following error. Still can't open from the dock anymore.

$ /Applications/FirefoxNightly.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin ; exit;

What happens when you run it by double-clicking the .app bundle in the Application directory (or wherever you installed Nightly)? What happens if you run .app/Contents/MacOS/firefox (rather than firefox-bin)?

Don't know, I right clicked on the new Nightly icon in the dock (for the firefox-bin) and added that to the dock permanently and removed the old one from the dock. Things seem to be working fine now.
Sorry about that!

In fact, the only way I can run nightly (on OSX btw):
```
/Applications/FirefoxNightly.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -p <profile name>
```
The nightly build was: 35.0a1 (2014-09-02)
After upgrading to 35.0a1 (2014-09-03) the issue is resolved.
