Mozilla 2001100902/Linux-i386, Shockwave Flash 5.0 r47 Mozilla crashes as soon as menu-animation made with Flash loads and starts. Other flash animations on the page continue to work, but Mozilla's interface is no longer responding. 1. Visit the above URL. 2. Wait it flash menu on the left loads and starts. 3. Observe that Mozilla is no longer responding. Reproducability: Always.

are you playing music through your sound device at the same time?

No music played, actually the machine I'm using has no sound configured at all. BTW, I've tested with nightly from yesterday and the problem persists.
hmm does not having configured sound actually prevent that anything tries to access /dev/dsp Reporter: If you have lsof installed try a /usr/sbin/lsof /dev/dsp Does anything turn up? Just thinking that you may have an unsatisfied sound daemon of sorts hanging around even if sound isn't configured - depending on desktop environment.

I think i have the same bug, but i am not really sure... I have the following version: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011012 I have installed the flash plugin (5.0 r47) just by copying the files libflashplayer and Shockwave.class into the plugin directory. When i now try to acces a webpage containing any flash animation mozilla does not do anything. I have to kill with the process manager. I am not playing any sounds. When i resize the window, the resized area becomes grey. the rest stays as usual. Reproducability: Always. If you have any questions: mailto: b.birkenbach@t-online.de

First, http://www.logos.pl/ has new content and is no longer causing this. However, for a demonstration of this problem surf to http://www.britney.com/ (yeah, my sister's been using the machine again) and click on the orange box in the bottom-right part of the page. A new window will open, also with some Flash animation. After a few second of playing stuff in both windows, Mozilla hangs and only Flash anims continue. Tested with 2001122106/Linux-i686.
