The ESR branding didn't receive the changes from bug 884011. In fact, ESR24 didn't have them. ESR31 doesn't have them either. To me, this is an indicator that the ESR branding should either live in mozilla-central alongside the other brandings, or should be part of the official branding, behind a switch, so that it's not an afterthought anymore.

Specifically, it did receive some of them, but not the switch of the wordmark to svg.

Uhm. It is news to me that we have differing branding for ESR. And yet, there it is:
https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-esr24/rev/967211a1ca0a
https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-esr31/rev/450086c0ded0
This didn't land with any review, what's up with that?

Bug 720837 is the original bug where we decided to switch the wordmark image, with the understanding that we'd just continue doing that for each ESR.
Bug 1012647 seems to be where we noticed the change to SVG and adjust the patch for ESR 31 - that probably should have gotten Firefox peer review.
Bug 812151 is already on file to avoid needing to separately patch each ESR. Dupe?

Yeah, bug 812151 is what we should do here.
