User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20140825202822

Steps to reproduce:

I just updated from Firefox 31 to 32.
I have version 11.0.8.4 of the AcroReader, installed

I then checked plugins, and encountered problems with requesting updates to Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Shockwave, both identified with red buttons for update. See Bug 1062236

Due to the identified problem with updating the Acrobat Reader Plugin, I went directly to the Adobe website for the update, it identified the version to be downloaded as 11.0.8, without an additional ".4"

I opened Acrobat Reader, directly, and requested a check for updates, there. It identifies my version as up to date.

These would be inconsistent with the reported condition on the checking plugins page in Fox.

As of now, for me in the U.S., the plugin check reports Adobe reader 11.0.8.4 as up-to-date. Someone fixed it. I note that Bug 1062236 comment 2 advises that the U.K. version of the Plugincheck now reports the version as up to date.

I wasn't aware there were multiple versions of the Plugincheck.

Allowing for the possibility that there are others, I will refrain from marking this as resolved/fixed; someone who can check all of them can take that step....

I updated the database.

There is not multiple versions for plugin check, the only difference is the locale which will change based on the location you access mozilla.org The code that checks plugins is locale agnostic.

We have not ever seen an update for a single or group of locales so, this makes no difference.

I am closing this as resolved -> fixed as there are two users that have tested this and report that the result is as expected.
