When a user creates a Firefox Account, we need to notify the Basket API using the API extension in Bug 1051806 so they can send a welcome email and handle other FxA engagement.

Yes, that's correct.

This is been deployed to FxA prod as of Bug 1079645. :pmac can you verify it is working?

ckarlof: As of last night, there are 138,368 users in ExactTarget that have a FX_ID. Does that sound right to you?
