Related bug: bug 56696. Reporter: Have you tried a fresh profile? You can manage/create profiles with "mozilla.exe -profilemanager".

Just tried mozilla.exe -profilemanager New profile. Mail settings OK (send and recieve works) No change, ctrl+enter is ignored. This is not on my machine only, at work I have free will at a lot of machines, and it didn't work there too, all win98se german, and a lot of mozilla versions. ctrl+t (for example) works.

Oki, Bug 50255 describes my problem, looks like I used the wrong keywords to find that one when I search the bugbase. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 50255 ***
