1062932 - Tab tooltips are sized to the length of the tab with the most text

I just noticed that my tab tooltips (title and close) are not dynamically resizing to the content of the tooltip. It appears as though they are all the same size as the largest tooltip. 

I'm not sure how this happened so I don't have good steps to reproduce. Here's what I do know.

A) I am using Firefox 35.0a1 on a Retina Macbook Pro 13" (2013)
B) I plugged a DVI->Thunderbolt adapter to display my screen on Mozilla's Vidyo system
C) After showing off a few tabs, I unplugged the display
D) After unplugging, I noticed my window was still extended a bit past the right edge of my screen but it corrected itself after a few seconds

I've attached a screenshot that shows the long tooltip.

Restarting Firefox seem to have got this back to normal.
