Running M8 (and previous...) executable on MacOS 8.5 (a PowerBook G3,
if that helps), I get an odd error that appears to be related to an
inappropriate detection of an end-of-comment when there wasn't one.
For the following HTML:
--------------------------
<!--
- 1
-->
--------------------------
I get the "-->" displayed, that is, the browser thinks that there's a
comment terminator on the second line.

Things that make it work:
1) get rid of the "-" on the second line.
2) get rid of a space on the second line.
3) get rid of the "1" on the second line.
3) (duh) get rid of the second line.

Things that don't work:
1) Add spaces in the second line (or anywhere else)
2) Change the "1" to anything else.

janc, can you reproduce?

Chris -- this should be fixed. We've changed our parsing algorithm for comments,
and this should not be able to get through. Please retry.
