This bug report was spun off from bug 105372.

A dialog box with the following error message pops up when a page with applets
is loaded:

  "applet failed to load from URL:  http://..."

It happens with any page that contains applet(s), and forces the user to click
on the ok button to dismiss it. This would be annoying to Mac users.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Save the attached testcase, and Java class file into a web server.
2. Load the test case in the browser.

Actual result: An error msg dialog box pops up.
Expected result:  The page displays on screen and no dialog box is shown.

This is a regression from 2001-10-17-03-0.9.4 build, and from Netscape 6.1.

Per Siva, the applet still continues to load.  Due to timing, we will have to
release note this since this bug is not a ship stopper.

I don't understand this bug. The applet works fine in both Mac OS 9 and X. I see
no errors. Any java errors should be popped up in the status window anyway...
not as a seperate dialog.
