User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0
Build ID: 20140907004002
Steps to reproduce:
After upgrading to Aurora 34, I'm getting very weird suggestions in location bar when I start typing (or no suggestions at all). Autocomplete stopped working altogether.
Actual results:
Let me use an example:
I have a site, http://rapidmoviez.com, bookmarked. (I visit it almost every day.)
When I start typing "r" or "ra" or even "rap", I don't see this url in the suggestions list, nor will it appear in the url field as autocomplete.
Actually, autocomplete does not work at all, even if I type the addresses of most visited sites.
Expected results:
I used to be able to go to most visited sites by typing just one (first) letter of the address and pressing Enter.
Now it's all broken.
Please don't tell me, you did it on purpose. What purpose should that be, I wonder?
The weird thing, that it seems to works well on 20140907004002 (Latest) for my, but stopped working on previous build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2014-09-01-00-40-02-mozilla-aurora.

The latest build is slightly better than previous ones. It gives a number of "selective" suggestions (nothing from history and no autocomplete, though). I can't call this "working."
And "rapid" is totally ignored. I can get "rapid" suggestion if I type "pid" (how is this for weird?)

Could you please check what you have selected in Options / Privacy / Location Bar?

Also, please try safe mode. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
We need to be sure this is not an add-on compatibility issue.

This is exactly a compatibility issue!
I've found the culprit: I had the keyword.URL Hack! addon installed, which, I believe, is now obsolete. I absolutely forget about it.
Thank you very much, Marco. I should be more attentive.
