User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 Build ID: 20140716183446 Steps to reproduce: Bug occurred in version 31.0 In a new Write message: If I type: ga it will be in red type and the drop down options are in black type. If I then select the first option which is already displaying in the To field, then an error occurs. This bug is not just red font, nor the fact that search has a real problem returning expected email address, but that selecting the option returned by autocomplete is entering an invalid email address which is not in any address book. Actual results: I end up with the following being autocompleted in the To field: gail >> Display Name Gail followed by email address in chevrons This is also all in red type and also an invalid email address. If I select another person from the actual drop down then it enters the email address correctly but it is in red coloured type. Display Name Gail followed by email address in chevrons Expected results: When I select the one offered by the autocomplete, the email address should be: Display Name Gail followed by email address in chevrons in black type and not what I am seeing: gail >> Display Name Gail followed by email address in chevrons in red type
