Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011012 BuildID: 2001101202 I've IMAP accounts configured. Also I told Messenger to place a copy of sent messages in the "outbox" folder, located at IMAP server. I start writing a message, I employ a lot of time and the Messenger remains open and online. When eventually a click on Send, it is able to send (no problems with SMTP), but it says me it wasn't able to write the copy in the outbox. Probably the problem is that messenger beelive the IMAP connection yet open, but actually the server has already launched a timeout. To face with thay I have to remeber to switch to offline before composing and back to online when sending. Very annoyng... The problem has appeared in the 0.95 version, not in previous ones. If meaningful, exactly the same happened in Netscape 4.x Marco Brandizi <brandizi@NOSPAMlobero.it> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure an IMAP account and setup a server directory as repository for sent messages 2. Open the messenger and leave it online 3. Start composing a mail 4. Wait a long time (30-60 mins) 5. Try to send Actual Results: Message is sent but not copyed to the sent folder (probably an IMAP server timeout) Expected Results: Message sent and copyed to the server folder (i.e. timed out connection is made again)
