In bug 1062519, the search field was changed to match the style of about:home's search field. If we're going to use about:home as a reference for the design of about:apps, then we should probably set the text in Lucida Grande instead of Fira Sans. I'll leave this up to Phil and Firefox Visual Design folks to decide whether this is something we want to do.

For the record, it's not actually using Lucida Grande but 'message-box', which I suppose is Lucida Grande on Mac OS X. But it's not the case on Windows / Linux. In about:apps I've set message-box font for the search input & button only for now.
Yes, I believe the typeface used is specific to the OS. Lucida Grande is OS X, and i'm not sure which is used in Windows. Can any find out in Inspect Element on a Windows machine?
