We are in the process of building pages that are designed to match the user experience when coming from Moz.org, but in the meantime we should test sending a % of traffic through the new sign-up funnel developed during the snippet promotion to see whether this has a positive or negative impact on sign-ups.

50% of referrals from mozilla.org to webmaker.org homepage (for English language users*) will be redirected to the new user funnel that was built during the Maker Party snippet campaign, and we will measure what impact this has on conversion rates.
This traffic split is now live and we will collect results over the following weeks.
---
(* The new user funnel is not localized, so we can only test this for EN-languages at the moment.)

The results are in for this test:
https://docs.google.com/a/mozillafoundation.org/document/d/1LcAYSjf7vDInRVDU9fZUcfe5dHxYH1xP7GxEv0LUVmo/edit#
Linking to the landing-page-funnel rather than the homepage increases conversion rate from ~3% to ~13.5% for traffic from mozilla.org.
This change will bring in ~1,400 additional new webmaker users per month.
This has been added to list of completed tests here:
