I get a dialog saying:

Alert

/Users/ehsan/Downloads/kLkyA+X4.txt.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.

The download manager prompt gets opened but it gets closed when I dismiss this alert.

Can confirm on x86_64 Ubuntu [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0] as well.

/tmp/jhLs3nbK.csv.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
Is this another dup of bug 627155?

No, please see the summary. This is about e10s.

Hmm, I can't even log into gmail, it gives some sort of an error related to cookies. I think we have a bug on this someplace.

From the triage discussion today - I guess my cookie problems might be unique, logging into gmail shouldn't be an issue. Going to debug that first, then work on this.

Hmm, not able to reproduce on Windows using latest nightly.

STR:

1) send a pdf or image as an attachment to your account at gmail.com
2) load the gmail email, hover mouse over attachment, click download arrow

result: I get the content handler dialog, then save file and it lands in my Downloads directory.

will test on mac next.
Jim,

I'm not able to reproduce it on the latest Nightly [35.0a1 (2014-09-30)] either (Ubuntu, same as above). Seems to have been fixed!
Tested on mac too, working fine. Please reopen with good str if you're still seeing this.
