Description

3 years ago
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_4) AppleWebKit/537.78.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.0.6 Safari/537.78.2

Steps to reproduce:

On a rooted device I run the following commands :
$ rm -rf objdir-gecko/ out/ backup-flame/
$ BRANCH=v2.0 ./config.sh flame openc.xml
$ ./build.sh gecko
$ ./flash.sh gecko
$ cd gaia
$ make reset-gaia

Actual results:

All is good, except that the new B2G version on the device is always the master version, whatever the BRANCH=<version> set.

Expected results:

The new B2G version installed on the device should match with the BRANCH=<version> set during config.

Sorry, for the ZTE Open C, it's necessary to use a xml for the config phase (./config.sh flame openc.xml). It's in this file that the branch has to be set. The lines concerned are :
<project name="gecko.git" path="gecko" remote="mozillaorg" revision="master" />
<project name="gaia" path="gaia" remote="mozillaorg" revision="master"/>
For example, replace 'master' by 'v2.1'.
