I saw a GC yesterday that reported Slice0 and Slice2, but the listed Map Pause corresponded to the unshown Slice 1. Seems like it should be simple to track down.
The pause on that "excessively long" slice was 35ms. Our reporting threshold was 42ms, which is why it was not shown. I've lowered the threshold in bug 1068123 to 10ms, so hopefully we will get more detailed messages now.
