We currently append logcat output to tbpl output of Mnw tests that run against emulators, and this has been really helpful when there's a failure, but we have no equivalent output for any other platform (desktop/b2g desktop). The parallel to this in non-emulator environments is the gecko.log file. I'd like to append the output of this file to the Mn/Mnw tests that run in non-emulator environments. This will help us figure out what went wrong when tests fail. Most recently, it would help us a lot with Bug 1065501. I can try my hand at writing a mozharness script to get this working today.
after discussing on #releng, I'm going to approach this by uploading the gecko.log to blobber instead of appending to full log
Summary: Append gecko.log to non-emulator Mn/Mnw tests → Upload gecko.log for non-emulator Mn/Mnw tests
Tested against ash, it does what I want it to do. This is the blobber manifest for my run: https://mozilla-releng-blobs.s3.amazonaws.com/blobs/ash/sha512/aeb46b55ca823a3e7a6cecbadc1a782f06efa47ca568b0c09b5a4594c48de5cc3ae3dba61c4b7eeae4e67e6fc28f96c9cbb0c8b19b63554d0e868e7e1b33a2f8. It successfully uploaded the gecko log on blobber

This broke Marionette on older branches. Backed out. http://hg.mozilla.org/build/mozharness/rev/fab5e7003de4 https://tbpl.mozilla.org/php/getParsedLog.php?id=48111026&tree=Mozilla-B2g30-v1.4

I'll need to uplift https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=873035 to b2g30, but the patch doesn't apply cleanly. Are there other branches this failed on?
Will ask to reland as soon as https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Mozilla-Esr31 and https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Mozilla-B2g30-v1.4 go green
They ran green and this patch is ready to be merged into production
