User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 Build ID: 20140825202822 Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to www.google.com 2. Search for anything 3. Click on any of the links in the search results Actual results: Firefox hangs permanently, until it is either closed while not responding, or ending the process in Task Manager. It only started happening today, it hasn't happened on any other day. Even a friend of mine has said that he has the same problem. I've started Firefox in Safe Mode, and that definitely told me that it had nothing to do with the extensions at all. I've tried it in Chrome, and it works perfectly. I've checked the settings in about:config in Firefox, couldn't find anything that was causing the problem. I've tried using IE and it has absolutely no problem whatsoever. Expected results: Clicking any of the links within the Google search results should load the web page instead of becoming stuck and then hanging.

Tested it with a clean profile, and still had the same results. It made no difference at all.

Okay, I've noticed it's not just clicking Google search result links, but also hangs on pages that contain a redirect that works in that same kind of way. It's still happening even in Firefox version 32.0.1.
Summary: Clicking links in a Google search causes Firefox to hang → Redirects like clicking links in a Google search causes Firefox to hang
The problem only occurred to me when I left the computer on the same Operating System for several months. As soon as I rebooted, Firefox was working as good as it used to be. I'm not exactly sure as to what could've caused it.
