User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20140825202822

Steps to reproduce:

Go to CNN or Youtube and play a video.
Pause video.
With cursor within the flash play window, press mouse back button.

Actual results:

Firefox crashes. Crash report bp-0b637026-80f5-421e-9a9f-b2a232140912

Expected results:

Firefox goes back to previous page.

(FYI: if you move the cursor out of the flash play window before pressing the mouse back button, Firefox correctly returns to the previous page without crashing.)
Firstly, as you have many add-ons, could you try the basic troubleshooting steps:
1) safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
2) clean profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Does Firefox crash too?

Besides the questions from Loic, do you also crash if you run Firefox outside of Sandboxie ?
Safe mode: still crashes
Outside Sandboxie: still crashes

Can try creating a new profile but it will take a day or so b4 I can.

Summary: Firefox crash playing CNN and Youtube videos when pressing mouse back button while cursor hovering over play window → [Flash] Firefox crash playing CNN and Youtube videos when pressing mouse back button while cursor hovering over play window
Just to update, the problem still occurs with a brand new profile. I have also disabled hardware acceleration in Flash and that doesn't fix the problem either. Nor did disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.
Please provide all related crash IDs from about:crashes.

Which mouse model do you use?

Product: Firefox → Plugins

Just wanted to add that if I keep dom.ipc.plugins.enabled as "true", just the Flash plugin crashes (but browser unresponsive until plugin crash dialog dismissed.

I use a Microsoft Trackball Optical with Intellipoint 4. Even with Intellipoint disabled, Flash still crashes. I just have the one crash ID (linked above).

Since FF seems to be doing its job and preventing the whole browser from crashing (as long as dom.ipc.plugins.enabled is set to true), maybe I should look at this as a Flash bug and not a Firefox bug??
Flags: needinfo?(cammer)
If I set dom.ipc.plugins.enabled to false, the whole browser crashes while pressing back button while cursor over video window, with the following crash report:

Yes, this is Flash crashing and probably best reported with Adobe.
